Guilty!
Dear Tumblr,
I lazy parented today.
Not gonna lie, I woke up at 5am with Ash bitching, got him back to bed around 6, laid down hoping to sleep that hour, but no Berlin woke up at about 6:08.
I totally locked her in my bed room with blue clues and slept…
Or as I love to hear lazy parents say: “She just went into the other room to do really intellectual things like read a few books all to herself, she just loves reading! all to herself! by herself! Shes just that smart and loves to read, by no means did I lock her in her room to play on tumblr, my child just LOVEEEESSS reading!”
10 fingers, 9 toes. Hardly any blood.
All is well it seems.
Granted I was waking up every few minutes to yell “Berlin!” even if she wasnt doing anything bad, maybe just incase? But I rested til about 7:30.
Lets just call it an independence exercise.
